The Jet Black Heights are a 5 piece band from the South of England UK. Gary Anderson – Vocals, Mike de Souza – Guitar, Tom Gwyther – Keyboards, Chris Lockyer – Bass, Rupe Rance - DrumsAs one door closes, another one opens………..and that’s how it was for The Jet Black Heights, formed in the summer of 2007. Gary had parted company with his previous band who had supported Bon Jovi and Nickleback on the UK leg of their 2006 World Tour. Mike, Rupe, Chris and Tom had been searching for sometime for the right vocalist to complete their line-up when they heard that their old mate Gary (their obvious choice) had become available. The band had been friends for more than 10 years having toured and recorded in various bands together over that period….things slotted very quickly into place! Their influences are numerous but include :- LIVE, Counting Crows, Jeff Buckley, Killing Joke, U2, Goo Goo Dolls, Van Halen, Muse and The Foo Fighters.
